1. What is X-Bankers

X-Bankers offers debt consolidation, debt counseling, provides personal financial insights to consumers and other products and services designed to assist its consumers in better managing their money and making better financial decisions.

2. What's the minimum balance to consolidate through X-bankers?

You must have an outstanding balance of at least $5,000 in eligible credit card debt to consolidate under this program.

3. I have credit card debt and/or unsecured debt, but I also have bad credit. Can I still consolidate with xbankers.com?

Bad credit, poor credit? No problem! There are no credit checks and no co-signers required for your single and own "debt-consolidation." We work solely with the debts you owe on, and nothing else

4. Do I have to extend my terms when I consolidate?

Absolutely not! You can keep your payments and the terms the same. Also, you can customize it as low as 5 years (60 months). Keep in mind, there is no prepayment penalty.

5. Can I switch my repayment option later on?

Yes, as and when you feel that you do not need our support.

6. How does being on X-Bankers program different from applying for Bankruptcy?

X-Bankers programs are voluntary for both you and your creditors. X-Bankers program provide 100% payback to your creditors for your outstanding debts. Therefore, your creditors look positively at your Debt Management Program since it can avoid their customers from filing bankruptcy and forcing them to write off the debt.

7. What happens should I cancel my program

If you no longer wish to be in X-Bankers program, you loose all of the advantages the program provides, i.e., one low monthly payment, less or possibly eliminating interests and unpleasant collection calls.

8. What will happen to my credit report when I join X-Bankers program?

Depending on your current situation, participating in our Debt Management Program may have a positive effect on your credit rating. However, if you currently have perfect credit, then sending reduced payments to creditors or getting interest concessions through the Debt Management Plan could put a stain on your report. A creditor may report a reduced payment as "late" or may insert a line stating "payments administered by "Debt Management Agency". If your credit report already reflects any late or missed payments, then the X-Bankers program will likely improve your records by facilitating consistent on-time monthly payments. Also, through X-Bankers, many creditors "re-age" your account, meaning that even if you were late in the past they will report you as "current" as long as you make all your monthly payments on time through the program. And once you "graduate" from the program after having paid off all your debts, we will guide you to re-establish your credit.

9. What is a DMP?

A Debt Management Program offers a convenient plan for paying off debts and regaining financial stability. Our consultants help you develop a budget and then work with your creditors to:

  • Combine your multiple payments into on affordable monthly payment
  • Eliminate or reduce interest rates
  • Eliminate late charges and over the limit fees
  • Stop those frustrating collection calls!
Once an affordable payment plan has been established, you make one monthly payment to X-Bankers. X-Bankers then disburses payments directly to your creditors.

10. How much do you charge for this service?

We charge a one-time administrative fee to cover operating expenses. Your Counselor will be able to quote the exact amount being charged to you.

11. How can I get rid of creditor's reminders / calls / notices?

  • Make your payments on time. If you miss a payment or pay late, your creditors may elect to drop you from the debt management program and reverse your benefits
  • Do not apply for or accept any additional credit. Doing so could mean being dropped from the program and could hinder your success. Some creditors even check your credit report yearly to ensure no new lines of credit have been opened, and will discontinue benefits to clients who have breached the debt management contract
  • Do not make payments directly to your creditors. Send all payments, including any late or extra payments you might be able to make, directly to X-Bankers
  • Review your creditors' statements. It is your responsibility to check your statements to see if creditors have reduced interest rates and waived fees (if applicable), and to see that your payments are being applied correctly
  • Never miss or make a late payment. Doing so could mean your benefits will be revoked, plus your reduced interest rates may be raised and/or late fees could be imposed. Missing a payment or paying late is in breach of your debt management contract. If you do miss a payment or make a late payment, it is your responsibility to contact your creditors to determine how the accounts will be affected. Remember to relay this information to your counselor so that we may take any necessary actions or make recommendations.
  • Stay in touch. We're here for you. Contact your Counselor at 1-888-442-0445 should you have any questions or need additional counseling
  • Keep your personal information up to date. Keeping your personal information up to date will enable X-Bankers to provide the best possible service. In order for us to communicate with your creditors, we usually must verify basic information, such as your name, address, telephone number, and social insurance number. This is why it is also important to ensure your personal information is accurate with your creditors. In addition, we rely on you speak to your creditors if they try to reach you and to check your statements each month to make sure that you are receiving benefits and credit for payments made through X-Bankers. You will not be able to do this unless your creditor has the correct contact information on file. Contact your Counselor and creditors immediately with any changes to your name, address, telephone number, e-mail address, or other contact information

12. What if I do not have all of my creditor information?

In order to ensure we are providing you with an accurate payment plan, it is important that all of the creditor information you provide to us was obtained less than 30 days prior and the due date has not passed. If you do not have all of your creditor account information, you can still begin the enrollment process. You will simply need to provide the remaining information as soon as possible

13. What types of debt do you work with?

X-Bankers works with unsecured debts, such as credit cards, department store cards, cancelled utility bills, most collection accounts, unsecured personal lines of credit, and unsecured loans. Unsecured means there is no collateral attached to the personal line of credit or loan - examples of collateral could be a house or a car.

14. How do I deal with collection calls?

As promised, the collection calls will eventually stop. However, in some cases it takes approximately three consecutive payments from our agency, on your behalf, before the calls stop completely. Should a creditor call, please inform them that you have arranged your payment options with X-Bankers. If they call again, notify your counselor at 1-888-442-0445 and they will contact the creditor. It's important not to ignore any mailings or calls from your creditors and to keep us informed of any concern you might have as soon as possible

15. When will I start receiving benefits from my creditors?

Before your creditors extend special benefits like lower interest rates and waived late fees, you must first be consistent with your payments through X-Bankers. Many creditors start granting benefits upon acceptance of your proposals. However, some creditors can take up to three consecutive payments before offering full benefits. That is why it is so important to carefully review your monthly creditor statements. When benefits are granted, they will be reflected on your statements. You should also check each month to make sure that you are receiving credit for payments made through our X-Bankers.

16. Do all the co-applicants of my loan(s) should be enrolled along with me in the DMP or separately?

Yes, as long as there is at least one form of debt that is shared. This means one of you is the primary, and the other is a co-applicant. We would need you both to sign the agreement. If there is not at least one shared account, then you will each need to enroll separately.

17. Do I have to include all of my debts when enrolling in the DMP?

Creditors strongly suggest that all accounts be placed into the program. There is no limit to the amount of unsecured accounts that may be placed on the X-Bankers Debt Consolidation Program. Creditors are very willing to extend benefits when they know their consumer is earnestly trying to get out of debt. Placing all credit cards on the program demonstrates an earnest commitment to repaying one's debts. If a consumer only places a few accounts on the program, then debt consolidation and management is not complete. Our experience also tells us that the successful consumers of our program include all of their debts. Most creditors do allow you to leave one credit card off in case of an emergency; however, if you must use this emergency card, we encourage you to first inform your creditors to ensure it will not cause you to lose benefits.

18. How do I get started?
